Synapsint is an OSINT search platform that provides unified search across multiple data categories including domain information, IP addresses, phone numbers, and username searches. It aggregates data from multiple OSINT sources and presents results in a structured interface, reducing the number of individual tool queries needed during multi-source investigations.
For OSINT investigators, Synapsint's value lies in its aggregation capability — a single query can return domain WHOIS data, associated IP addresses, related certificates, passive DNS records, and other data points that would otherwise require visits to multiple separate tools. This consolidation reduces investigation time and ensures important data relationships are not missed when investigators forget to query a specific source.
The domain intelligence capabilities include WHOIS data, historical DNS records, subdomains derived from certificate transparency logs, and IP geolocation for resolved addresses. This provides a rapid initial assessment of any domain's technical footprint without requiring tool switching.
IP address investigations through Synapsint return geolocation data, ASN information, abuse records, and passive DNS history — the domains that have previously resolved to the IP address. Reverse IP lookup through passive DNS is particularly valuable for identifying other domains hosted on the same infrastructure, which frequently reveals organizational connections or criminal infrastructure clusters.
Phone number lookups aggregate carrier data, geolocation (country and carrier), and where available, associated name or account information. For fraud investigations where a suspect phone number is identified, Synapsint provides immediate basic enrichment.
Username searches query multiple platforms simultaneously to identify accounts associated with a specific username, supporting identity correlation across online platforms — a foundational technique for social media OSINT.
Limitations: Synapsint aggregates data from third-party sources and is subject to the currency and accuracy limitations of those sources. Data may be cached and not reflect the most current state of queried entities. For high-confidence findings, verify all Synapsint results against the primary authoritative sources.
